08. 전치사구 문장전환(구→절)
전치사구를 명사절, 형용사절, 부사절로 전환할 수 있다.
1. 전치사구 → 명사절
I’m sure of his success.
(난 그의 성공을 믿는다.)
I’m sure that he will succeed.
(난 그가 성공할거라 믿는다.)
→ be sure of 를 be sure that절로 전환.
I’m afraid of being late.
(지각할까 봐 두렵다.)
I’m afraid that I’ll be late.
→ 현재시제인 be sure/afraid/aware/likely of 등이 복문으로 전환될 경우 보통 that절의 시제는 미래에 어떤 일이 일어날 것을 의미하므로 미래시제를 필요로 한다.

3. 전치사구(=부사구) → 부사절
He was involved in a crash because of his inexperienced driving. <전치사구>
(그의 미숙한 운전 때문에 그는 사고에 관여했다.)
He was involved in a crash because he was an inexperienced driver. <부사절>
(그가 경험이 부족한 운전자라서 사고에 관여했다.)
